TIMEKEEPING Registration on Saturday will be at 9:00 sharp, followed by a short players' meeting at 9:15 and we intend to start play at 9:30. Please help us with the smooth running of the event and don't come late. We have implemented a system of penalties for delay throughout the tournament in order to keep things on track. REFEREES The match programmme includes detail of who is refereeing. We will also announce over the tannoy which matches are up next and on waht court. A pool of courts has been allocated to each pool of players, so you should now when you are on next. Please note that penalties also apply for delays from designated referees. Any discrepancies or disputes must be directed at tournament officials only and not at other teams or players. Decisions from the tournament Dierctor are final. HOUSEKEEPING Each Division (A/B/Men/Women) will have a designated colour-coded registration area where you will be given a vest/top per player, a goodie bag and a programme. Vest and tops provided must be worn during play. No shirtless play please. PLATE We plan to organise a men's and mixed plate on Sunday (Div A+B together). We usually do not get enough women teams left to play a plate, so women teams should consider finding men partners if they want to play on Sunday. Should there be more women team than mixed teams registered, we will go ahead with a women plate instead. REGISTATION FOR THE PLATE WILL TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY BY END OF PLAY. No registration on Sunday, sorry. We have to organise the courts and still run the main competition. PRIZES There are prizes for Place 1 to 4 in DIV A and 1 to 3 in DIV B (Men and Women). Due to the fact that we have a commitment to our sponsors, our policy is to only give the prize to the members of the teams in person at the presentation on Sunday (around 5pm). I.e., if you are in those places and want your prize, you have to stay until the end. No exceptions. PHOTOGRAPHY We will follow the guidelines from the EVA on child protection and register people who want to take photographs during the event. We have an official event photographer who will endeavour to take pictures of most participants and show them on a website gallery. Please note that by participating in our event you consent to your picture being taken. This might be used in our marketing material. PARTY ON SATURDAY NIGHT! A Saturday Party has been organised (free entry before 10pm) and a room booked at the exclusive venue of Tiger Tiger in Central Cardiff, Greyfriar Road, off Queen Street.
